After successfully completing an MBA at Leeds University Business School in 1999, in which he specialised in investment analysis, Jonathan began his investment career with John Currie Financial Management. He soon attained the qualifications to become an IFA and has since had responsibility for clients’ investment decisions and strategy at John Currie Financial Management and more recently, Beaumont Robinson Ltd following their takeover of the former in January 2005.

Jonathan joined Hirst and Company Ltd in April 2006 to expand and strengthen our team.

Jonathan is married and has two young children, William and Zoe, who take up most of his spare time. He also enjoys travel and sports.
